Edition 2025 — Foodtruck Festival
The 2025 Lichtenfels Food Truck Festival took place on March 22nd and 23rd on the market square. Saturday 12 PM–7 PM, Sunday 12 PM–6 PM (with mobility mile 12 PM–5 PM). Fourteen food trucks from around the world, concurrent Sunday shopping at Lichtenfels shops, family day with Punch and Judy show, acrobatics, cocktail bar, and bouncy castle. Organized by Stadtmarketing Lichtenfels and Funtastic GmbH.
Proven Weekend on the Market Square
In 2025, the Food Truck Festival once again attracted thousands of visitors to Lichtenfels' market square. Fourteen trucks served international street food specialties, Lichtenfels shops were open on Sunday, and the mobility mile showcased sustainable means of transport between 12 PM and 5 PM.
Family and City Centre Format
The programme combined street food enjoyment with a classic city centre format: Punch and Judy show for the little ones, live music for the older ones, cocktails for the adults. Organizers Stadtmarketing Lichtenfels and Funtastic GmbH were able to build on the successes of previous years.
